Summary:
Cosmic Break by Cyberstep is a third person action shooter pvp centered MMO, the player manages a team of mechas in their "garage", which they can costumize and organize for battle as they prefer.
Gameplay:
The player selects three robots from their garage for a sub team called "commando", the battles are fast paced, teamwork and terrain tactics are very important and it's always a fun battle, the selected robots have a cost limit, and the commando itself has a cost limit players must respect. Cost depends on each robot's customization, to make it short, higher costs usually mean a more powerful mecha.
This feature adds a lot of balance to the game, which for a pvp based MMO is important and rare, some players think this balance can be broken by certain factors, like lag abusers telporting behind you and discharging a hundred bullets on you, very fast you can confuse them with Super Saiyans in the wrong game, and players using certain specific robots like Baphogridr Girl or Sasha Tereshkov because of communist propaganda with superior characteristics or simply higher base stats. I believe skill will always be the crucial factor in a match regardless.
The game doesn't have a story, okay, it does, and it's an interesting one, but the game doesn't care, you will just be going to arena most of the time, the pve in this game is very limited and doesn't really tackle the story much. If you don't like pvp, this game is not for you.
Graphics and sound:
Graphics are what you could expect from a small MMO from 2008, some of the music in the game is beautiful, other tracks can feel boring.
